The Opportunity

We're on the lookout for a dynamic SEO and Data Mapping Specialist to join our team on a part-time basis, aligned with Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST). This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about SEO and data analytics, and who thrives in a creative, fast-paced environment. You'll play a pivotal role in enhancing our online presence and be a part of our growth journey, with the potential for increased hours and responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

  1. SEO Management: Optimise various elements on the website, including pages, collections, and images.
  2. Content Strategy Development: Craft and implement content strategies that dovetail with our SEO objectives.
  3. Link Building: Develop strategies to enhance our site's authority and search ranking through effective link building.
  4. Mobile Optimization: Ensure our website delivers a seamless experience for mobile users.
  5. User Experience (UX) Optimization: Enhance the website's usability, impacting SEO positively.
  6. Technical SEO: Tackle technical aspects of SEO, such as site speed, structured data, and site crawlability.
  7. Multimedia SEO: Optimize visual content, which is crucial for our visually rich industry.
  8. Social Media Optimization: Enhance our presence on platforms like YouTube and Pinterest.
  9. Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team to align SEO with broader marketing strategies.
  10. Reporting: Conduct weekly SEO reporting, identifying key areas for improvement and opportunities.
  11. Additional Responsibilities: Product listing creation, website optimisation, and system installations, with training provided as needed.

Skills & Experience

  • Essential:
    • Proven experience in SEO management and content strategy.
    • Proficiency in Shopify E-Commerce.
    • Strong skills in data analysis and reporting, particularly with GA4 and
    • Data Studio.
    • Keen attention to detail.
  • Highly Desirable:
    • Experience in Shopify Speed Optimization.
    • Team-oriented with a process-driven approach.
    • Self-motivated and proactive.
    • Familiarity with yarn, weaving, spinning, and needlecraft is a plus.
    • Experience with ClickUp for project management.
