Introducing Harrisville Designs
Woolen yarn has been a part of Harrisville's legacy since 1794, nestled in the picturesque Monadnock Highlands of southwestern New Hampshire. The village of Harrisville is not just a place but a living testament to America's early industrial communities, with its original form preserved as a National Historic Landmark since 1977.
For over 50 years, Harrisville Designs has been spinning 100% Virgin Wool Yarn, continuing the textile tradition that dates back centuries. Their dedication to quality craftsmanship and sustainability is evident in every skein of yarn they produce.
Harrisville Designs is currently owned and operated by John and Patricia Colony. Two of their three sons, Timothy and Nicholas, have joined them, interested in continuing the textile tradition that's been part of their family for generations.
Thread Collective is the only retailer of Harrisville Designs in Australia.
