Shipping and Dispatch
Thread Collective endeavours to pack orders within two business days when products are in stock. Thread Collective will dispatch back-ordered items within two business days of the shipment arriving at our warehouse. Thread Collective will hold your entire order until the back ordered item comes if your order contains a mix of in-stock and back-ordered items. If you would like separate deliveries, please ensure you complete two transactions.
International Shipping
Thread Collective ships internationally. Prices are calculated at the checkout, and the weight is calculated on the gross weight (inclusive of packaging). The buyer is responsible for all import fees and charges.
Free Shipping Promotions
(Updated: 02/06/2025) We are currently offering FREE SHIPPING to the following areas that meet the criteria:
- For orders over 200 AUD (Australia), excluding floor looms and bulky items
- For first-time yarn orders over 367 AUD (New Zealand)
- For first-time yarn and small item orders over 452 AUD (United States)

Postage Services
Thread Collective generally ships with Australia Post; however, a third-party courier may be used for large, heavy, and long items. For orders shipped with a courier, a single delivery attempt is included. If you miss this delivery and require another delivery, you will be required to contact the courier with the tracking number and arrange a suitable time or organise a collection. (Additional fees may apply and are the buyers' responsibility)
Tracking Services
In order to receive tracking for your order, you must provide an email address when placing your order. Shipping updates are sent via email with links to the shipping service. Please check the status of the tracking prior to contacting to check on order status.Ā
Untracked Free Shipping Option for Sample Cards
For sample cards, we offer a free shipping option that does not include tracking. If you select this option, no tracking number will be provided upon dispatch of your parcel. Please note that Thread Collective cannot be held responsible for any shipping issues that may occur, including delays, loss, or damage of items sent via this method. If you would like tracking for your order, we recommend selecting one of our standard shipping options at checkout.
Shipping Address
The onus is on the customer to ensure the correct shipping address is provided. Thread Collective will not be held liable for parcels that have not been delivered if an incorrect address has been used. If a parcel has been 'Returned To Sender' due to the provision of an incorrect address, Thread Collective will invoice for the return postage and redelivery fee.Ā
If your shipping address changes prior to the dispatch of a pre-order or back-ordered item, please advise us ASAP. Thread Collective will confirm receipt of the change.Ā Ā
Receiving of Goods
If your goods have not been received despite tracking showing otherwise, please contact the shipping agent as soon as possible and lodge an enquiry. Thread Collective cannot accept any responsibility for lost/stolen packages if 'Authority To Leave' has been given. Parcels received at the correct address will be considered as delivered regardless of who accepts the package.Ā
Ā Please ensure prompt collection of your order. If the item is returned due to non-collection, the buyer will be responsible for all fees, charges and associated shipping costs.Ā
In the unfortunate event that the package has been damaged, please take as much evidence as possible, submit a claim with the shipping carrier and notify info@threadcollective.com.au with documentation and a copy of the claim.Ā
On receipt of your package, please check the contents and notify Thread Collective at info@threadcollective.com.au as soon as possible if there are any discrepancies.
