Worked from the top down in the round using two strands of Knitting for Olive's No Waste Wool held together, the Carl Sweater features a seamless circular yoke construction. It begins with a folded ribbed neckline, followed by gentle shaping at the neck using German short rows for an excellent fit.
Yoke increases flow smoothly down to the underarms, where the sleeve stitches are set aside until the body is complete. To improve the fit, additional German short rows are worked at each underarm before finishing the body. Sleeves are then picked up and completed in the round. Ribbed edges on the cuffs, hem, and neckline offer a polished and snug finish.
