The Olive Top is your go-to summer knit—light, feminine, and endlessly wearable. With itsdelicate straps, flattering deep V neckline (front and back), and eye-catching textured stitch pattern, this camisole is perfect worn on its own in the heat or layered under cosy knits as the seasons shift.
The top is knitted from the top down, beginning with the front and back triangles shaped back and forth. These are then joined, and the body is worked seamlessly in the round down to the hem. A final flourish—the scalloped edge—is formed by folding and sewing the hem to the wrong side. The shoulder straps are worked from live stitches and finished with a neat graft at the shoulders, creating a clean, polished look.
Designed to be hip-length and close-fitting, the Olive Top is available in inclusive sizing and can be made in your choice of Knitting for Olive's lightweight yarns, making it a true wardrobe staple for warm weather and beyond.
