The Louet Fly Shuttle is a boat shuttle designed for use with the Louet Flying Shuttle Device (available on the Louet Spring, Delta, Octado and Megado weaving looms). The shuttle features a tension devise allowing for easy adjustment.

You can, but there are slight differences between the two. A Fly Shuttle is actually a specialized type of End-Feed Shuttle. It works as part of a whole Fly Shuttle System that connects to the weaving loom, automatically throwing the shuttle back and forth with the pull of a rope instead of throwing the shuttle manually, by hand. A Fly Shuttle is usually heavier than the hand-thrown End-Feed Shuttle. It also features sharp, metal ends on both sides.
