Malabrigo | Alisa Cowl - Knitting Pattern
Light, colourful and wonderfully versatile, the Alisa Cowl is a beautiful project for knitters who enjoy playing with colour. Its fingering-weight construction creates a delicate fabric with plenty of drape, while the cowl shape makes it an easy accessory to wrap around the neck for an extra layer of warmth and style.
The pattern can be knitted using either Malabrigo Sock or Malabrigo Mechita, both beautifully soft fingering-weight yarns made from superwash merino wool. A total of six skeins are required, and the colours can be mixed and matched to create a palette that is completely your own. The sample is knitted in Malabrigo Mechita, with two skeins each in 346 Fiona (A), 363 Pascal (B) and 357 Three Little Pigs (C), creating a playful combination of complementary shades.
With the option to work in three colours or create your own combination, the Alisa Cowl is a lovely opportunity to experiment with colour while working with beautifully soft merino. It makes a thoughtful handmade gift or a versatile addition to your own wardrobe, with the fine yarn creating a lighter accessory that can be worn comfortably throughout the year.
