Mirrix | Warp Coils (Springs)
Fine-tune your weaving with Mirrix Warp Coils, which are designed to control your warp spacing for both tapestry and bead weaving.
Available in 4, 5, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18, 20, and 22 DPI:
- 4 & 5 DPI: Compatible with 12", 16", 19", 22", 28", 32", and 38" looms (coated ends).
- 14 to 22 DPI: Compatible with the 5" Mini Mirrix Loom.
Select your loom type/size and warp coil size from the drop-down menu.
Choosing the Right Warp Coil
For Bead Weaving
Thread your beads onto a needle and measure one inch. Count the beads and subtract one to find your ideal warp coil size.
For Tapestry Weaving
Adjust based on your weft thickness:
- Finer weft: Higher DPI

Thicker weft: Lower DPI or skip every other dent
Example: An 18 DPI coil used every other dent equals a 9 DPI coil.
