Hand Cards for Fine Fibres
These fine curved hand cards from Schacht have been made with 112 TPI and have been designed to prepare fine and down like wools and fibres.
Schacht hand cards have a pronounced curve with a small lip milled into the rear of the paddle to protect the card clothing from becoming worn. The handles on the Schacht hand cards have been precisely tenoned into the paddles for superior strength.
Schacht also makes an all-purpose hand card for wool (72 TPI), hand cards for cotton and short-staple fibres (208 TPI) and a flick carder.
