All-Purpose Hand Cards
These curved hand cards from Schacht have been made with 72 TPI and are all-purpose hand cards. At 72 TPI the Schacht hand cards are great for a variety of wools and other long-staple fibres.
Schacht hand cards have a pronounced curve with a small lip milled into the rear of the paddle to protect the card clothing from becoming worn. The handles on the Schacht hand cards have been precisely tenoned into the paddles for superior strength.
Schacht also makes hand cards for fine wool (112 TPI), hand cards for cotton and short-staple fibres (208 TPI) and a flick carder.
