Scheepjes | Knitting Pattern YARN - The After Party no.52 Eastern Sunset Shawl
Designed by Margje Enting
Picture a serene spring evening, the sky awash with the warm tones of a setting sun—that's the feeling captured in the Eastern Sunset Shawl. Measuring a generous 200 x 50 cm, this elegant shawl unfolds across three distinct sections, each showcasing a different knitting technique. It begins with simple garter stitch, transitions into striking mosaic knitting, and finishes with a delicate lace pattern. Don’t worry if you’re not an expert—the pattern includes clear, step-by-step instructions, making it approachable for adventurous beginners and beyond.
To make your own Eastern Sunset Shawl, you'll need just one Scheepjes Whirligig yarn cake and one coordinating ball of Whirligigette for the final touches. In her version, designer Margje Enting chose Whirligig in shade 209 Plum to Red, paired with Whirligigette in shade 251 Plum.
