Yarn Made from Roses
Rose is viscose fibre made from the entire rose plant. To produce rose yarn the active ingredients of the rose flower is extracted and wet spun with the cellulose solution made from the stalks. It is stripped and processed to produce a luxurious and soft spinning rose fibre, which feels similar to silk. No chemicals are added during the spinning process and the end yarn is sustainable and biodegradable.
Rose yarn is known for its softness, high moisture absorption, and air permeability. If you're looking to spin your own rose fibre into yarn, you may want to browse our collection of spinning wheels.
