The Audrey Cardigan is a soft, feminine layer with a beautifully simple look and a touch of modern charm. Worked in smooth stockinette with delicate i-cord ties and edges, it has a gently cropped, slightly boxy fit that pairs effortlessly with dresses, skirts, and high-waisted trousers.
This cardigan is knit top down with a classic raglan construction, giving you the freedom to adjust the length as you go. It’s worked back and forth using 1 strand of Merino, Cotton Merino, or Pure Silk held together with Soft Silk Mohair, creating a fabric that feels light, luxurious, and wonderfully cosy.
You’ll begin by shaping the i-cord neckband and ties before moving into the raglan yoke. At the underarms, sleeve stitches are placed on hold while the body is shaped with subtle increases. The sleeves are then picked up and worked in the round, finished neatly with matching i-cord edging.
