The sweater is worked seamlessly from the top down in the round using a single strand of Heavy Merino. Short rows are used to shape the neckline before the yoke is worked with raglan increases. At the same time, the decorative cable pattern is knitted across the front according to the included charts.
Once the body and sleeves are divided, the sleeves are continued in the round in smooth stockinette stitch. Ribbed edges finish the neckline, hem and cuffs for a neat and classic look.
The cable charts are designed to be straightforward to follow, and the pattern includes an introduction to reading and working from charts, making it approachable for knitters who are new to this technique.

Needles: 3 mm / US2.5, 3.5 mm / US4 and 4 mm / US6 circular needles, or in size to obtain gauge
