Knitting For Olive | Olive's Vest (Adult) Pattern & Yarn Pack
Olive’s Vest is a timeless slipover designed with clean lines and an easy, wearable fit. Knit with 1 strand of Merino and 1 strand of Soft Silk Mohair held together, it has a soft, lightweight feel with just enough warmth—perfect for layering over shirts, dresses, or knits throughout the year.
The vest is worked seamlessly from the top down in stockinette stitch, combining sections worked flat and in the round. You begin with a folded ribbed neckline, shaping the neck using German short rows before knitting the front and back pieces separately down to the underarms. From there, the body is joined and worked in the round, finishing with a ribbed hem. Stitches are then picked up around the armholes and completed with folded ribbed edges for a neat, structured finish.

Sizing tip: Choose your size based on the to fit chest circumference measurements. For example, if your chest measures 98 cm [38½”], knitting a size M will give the intended fit.
