Broad, Sturdy Shuttle for Weaving
The Schacht Rag Shuttle is carved from a single piece of hard maple, offering beautiful balance and finish. Measuring 50.8cm (20") with a low profile, this shuttle is great for medium to heavy yarns.
Traditionally used for rag weaving and also for bulky chenilles and heavy rug wools, many weavers have found that it's a joy to use as it glides through the shed effortlessly and weighs just enough to be efficient.
UPDATE (4 June 2026): Schacht has put a temporary hold on select items, including this one. Schacht has been experiencing extended lead times, and this measure will help them focus their production efforts and improve efficiency on products that are currently active.
