DESCRIPTION

The Cow Sweater (Adult) is knitted back and forth in separate pieces using one strand of Heavy Merino and one strand of Soft Silk Mohair held together throughout. The finished pieces are seamed at the shoulders, along both sides of the body and beneath the arms.

The front is worked flat from the hem upwards to the shoulders, followed by the back. Once the shoulders are joined, stitches are picked up for the sleeves, which are worked flat and shaped with gradual decreases.

Stitches are then picked up around the neckline to create the ribbed neckband. The neckband is folded over and stitched down for a neat, structured finish.

The distinctive cow-spot pattern is worked in a contrasting colour using the intarsia technique. The colourwork is provided as a chart only, making the pattern a fun project for knitters who enjoy bringing bold graphic motifs to life.
