Knitting For Olive | Daimi Sweater Pattern & Yarn Pack
The Daimi Sweater is an elegant and lightweight design that pairs soft structure with beautiful detail. Featuring a flattering saddle-shoulder construction and gently loose sleeves, this sweater is elevated by a wide lace border that runs along the sleeve edges, adding a graceful and feminine touch.
Worked primarily in the round and held with 1 strand of Merino and 1 strand of Soft Silk Mohair throughout, Daimi has a delicate drape and a softly airy feel. The body is knitted top down in stockinette stitch, beginning with the neckband and shaped with German short rows to create a comfortable and refined neckline while forming the saddle shoulders.
At the underarms, the work is divided and the body is continued in the round before being finished with a clean folded hem. The sleeves are worked from the bottom up, combining lace and stockinette stitch, and are then grafted to the armhole stitches for a seamless and polished finish.
