The beanie is worked seamlessly in the round from the bottom up, using two strands held together throughout. Choose from Merino, Cotton Merino or Pure Silk to create your preferred combination of softness, warmth and drape.
Work begins with a ribbed brim designed to sit comfortably and securely around the ears. The decorative peacock pattern is then worked from charts as the hat continues towards the crown, with carefully placed decreases shaping the top.
The stitch pattern is charted, making the Peacock Beanie a lovely project for knitters who enjoy working with textured and decorative motifs.

Needles: 4 mm / US6 circular and double-pointed needles, or in size to obtain gauge
Gauge (after blocking): 29 sts and 31 rows = 10 cm [4”] in pattern (Chart A) with 4 mm / US6 needles.
