Knitting For Olive | Ruffle Romper Pattern & Yarn Pack
A Sweet Knit for Every Season
The Ruffle Romper is a charming, versatile knit for little ones, featuring a playful ruffle yoke and the option to customise with or without sleeves. It’s worked from the top down in smooth stockinette stitch using just 1 strand of Knitting For Olive Merino.
Start by shaping the keyhole opening at the back neck, then move on to the body, knit seamlessly in the round. The crotch is finished flat for a neat fit, and sleeves (if desired) are added in the round from the top down. A frilled ruffle is worked last, picked up around the yoke and knit in the round for that final touch of whimsy.
With sleeve length and fibre options easily adjustable, this romper is a year-round favourite in any handmade wardrobe.
