Knitting For Olive | Lace Bat Pattern & Yarn Pack
Dreamy Lace Bat Dress
The Lace Bat is a floaty, oversized knit dress featuring delicate lace sleeves that flutter like wings, perfect for warm days or layering throughout the seasons. This versatile piece can be styled as a dress, tunic or top, and is worked in either Knitting For Olive Pure Silk for a soft and breathable finish.
The standout lace sleeves are knit first using a charted lace pattern and shaped with German short rows for a graceful drape. The yoke is then worked upwards from the midsection to the neckline using a Provisional cast-on, before returning to the held stitches to complete the skirt in a top-down construction. The skirt length is easily customizable, making this a highly adaptable project to suit your wardrobe or the season.
Whether you're dressing up for a breezy summer day or seeking a unique, handmade statement piece, the Lace Bat offers timeless charm and comfort with every stitch.
