The design features a decorative border of colourful baubles hanging from spruce branches, inspired by a beautifully decorated Christmas tree. Worked entirely in the round from the bottom up, the skirt is knitted in stockinette stitch using one strand of Merino or Pure Silk held together with one strand of Soft Silk Mohair. Together, they create a soft and cosy fabric with a delicate halo.
A folded waistband with inserted elastic gives the skirt a comfortable, flexible fit, making it easy to wear throughout the festive season.
The Fair Isle design is provided as a chart, with the finer decorative details embroidered onto the finished knitting for an extra special touch.
