The harnesses stay in the up position in the shed, and the tie-up mechanism moves down through the midpoint to the bottom of the reed. It prevents warp sag and stops the weft from rolling inside the shed—two common issues with traditional jack looms. This results in a more stable and consistent weaving experience.
