Worked seamlessly from the top down, the sweater uses one strand of Merino and one strand of Soft Silk Mohair held together throughout. It features a circular yoke and begins with a ribbed neckband, followed by German short rows to shape the neckline. Increases are then worked around the yoke down to the underarms.
Once the yoke is complete, the sleeve stitches are placed on hold while the body is worked. Additional German short rows are added at each underarm to create a better-fitting shape before the charted Fair Isle pattern is worked. The sleeves are then knitted from the top down, with ribbed edges finishing both the body and sleeves.
The Fair Isle design is charted only, with decorative details embroidered onto the finished knitting for an extra festive touch.
