Two ply and won't really stand being unplyed to use one strand. Slightly irregular but soft. Not as strong as others and a bit thick for my fine hand stitching.
The yarn (Ito Kinu) was perfect for knitting with a 100% baby alpaca to give it some body & using a darker colour gave the result an interesting textured look also. Gorgeous!
This yarn met all my expectations. Beautiful colour, texture and feel.
This is very nice yarn to crotchet or weave. The color is dense and quite beautiful when woven on an open weave
I weave with this yarn. It washes well and looks lovely in a garment
Used this beautiful blue to combine with white in a scarf I’m weaving. Fine and soft It will give a nice contrast to denim in winter. The yarn does have a tendency to break in the warp occasionally, but not sufficient to take away the enjoyment of weaving. I expect to have a little left over so I’ll see how it knits.
I can’t wait to use this thread. It feel so soft and gentle. It’s going to be a dream to wear.
Beautiful raw silk. To weave Saori also crotchet and tapestry. Very versatile excellent quality silk No sheen.
I absolutely love Kinu as pattern warp in overshot weaving. The colour range is stunning and the results always so elegant, soft and textural. Most of the colours give off a beautiful subtle sheen when exposed to different lighting as well which makes it especially wonderful for evening garments like shawls where the yarn/pattern will be on display.
Kinu is a fabulous yarn. Comfortable to knit with and even better to wear!
